CAA stands for Certification Authority Authorization. It's a DNS record that allows domain owners to specify which Certificate Authorities (CAs) are allowed to issue SSL/TLS certificates for their domain.
The field contains the following fields:
• Certification Authority: The CA domain that's allowed to issue certificates. Select from dropdown list.
• Use Wildcard SSL:
• Domain: The main domain this policy applies to. The value is predefined.
• Additional Hostnames: (Sepearated list with commas - empty for all hostnames)
• Additional Options: requested by the CA (Sepearated list with commas)
• TTL: The time interval (in seconds) that this record may be cached before the source of the information should again be consulted. Zero values are interpreted to mean that the record can only be used for the transaction in progress, and should not be cached.
• Active: This defines whether this CAA record is active or not.
